This prolific artist is perhaps best known for his celebrity portraits of music and film stars, but this exhibition will feature the full range of Adam’s work; everything from his Serengeti Animals, Alice in Wonderland, and American Ruins series, as well as never-before-seen releases from his new series "To Robert with Love", a tribute to Robert Mapplethorpe.

Rick Steinburg

Opening Reception with Rick Steinburg

Rick Steinburg is a local Austin artist and Texas singer-songwriter. Steinburg grew up in a creative household influenced by his father, an abstract expressionist painter and professor of art. In his own work, Rick combines painting with found objects such as old keys, horseshoes, or fragments of musical instruments. His spontaneous process allows a narrative to develop organically within the final composition, guided by the visual possibilities of these found objects.

During the first weekend of WEST!
Saturday, May 12th 7-9pm

This solo exhibition will feature never-before-seen paintings, sculptures, and art installations in which found objects from these lost spaces are allowed to infringe upon and disrupt the gallery space. By transforming salvaged materials and elevating them into works of art, Eatherly challenges the viewer to see past surface erosion to the beauty underneath.
