ART on 5th will review artists’ work ONLY in one of the three following ways:
(1) Mail in (please do NOT drop off) photographs, not slides, of your work that you do NOT need returned. You may send as many as you like but they will not be returned.
(2) Or email your website address where we can view your work
(3) Or email images of your artwork (including size and medium) to us at the email address below.
We will not review photography or digital art.
Email is our preferred method of submission. Please do NOT bring in work for in gallery review. Within 14 days of receipt you will receive a phone call or email from us IF we would like to see your work in person. Please do not take offense if you do not hear from us. We evaluate work based upon what our clients have shown that they want, not necessarily on the artistic merit of the work.
Regarding the pricing of your artwork and the gallery commission structure, those issues will be explained only after we have evaluated your portfolio.
Please understand that should we choose to represent your art, it is a gallery requirement that ART on 5th be the exclusive retailer of your artwork within a 50 mile radius of Austin.
If we have not responded to you and your portfolio of work has significantly changed since you first submitted it to us, feel free to submit your work again.
